Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of RasoiOS websites, Android and iOS applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by RasoiOS Technologies from India.

By creating an account, signing in, subscribing, downloading our apps, or continuing to use the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy. If you accept on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

RASOIOS POS is a restaurant management application intended solely for restaurant owners, managers, cashiers, counter staff, and authorized personnel. It is not a consumer food ordering or food delivery application.

The Services are intended for restaurant owners, managers, cashiers, counter staff, cafés, cloud kitchens, and food businesses. You must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction;
• Have legal capacity and authority to enter a binding agreement;
• Provide accurate registration information and keep it current;
• Use the Services only for lawful restaurant and food-service operations.

You may register using email and password, mobile number and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In where available. OTP verification may be required for forgot-password flows or changing your registered mobile number, but is not required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

Limit access to authorized staff (owners, managers, cashiers, and counter personnel), assign roles appropriately, and notify us immediately at rasoios.team@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. RasoiOS is not liable for losses arising from credentials you failed to safeguard.

RasoiOS offers subscription plans with varying features, device limits, and billing cycles as shown in the app or website. Plan details, pricing, and included features may change with reasonable notice and generally apply at your next renewal.

Features may include POS billing, kitchen display (KDS), menu management, order management, inventory management, staff management, analytics, Bluetooth receipt and KOT printing, payment integrations, cloud sync, notifications, and AI-powered features such as Rasoi Brain.

We may offer free trials or promotional access at our discretion. Trial duration and eligible features are shown at sign-up. At trial end, continued use may require a paid subscription and your payment method may be charged as disclosed at sign-up.

We may modify or discontinue trials at any time. One trial per business may apply unless we approve otherwise.

Subscriptions may be billed through Razorpay on our website or owner portal, or through Google Play / Apple App Store in-app purchases where offered. You authorize applicable fees, taxes, and renewals to your selected payment method.

RasoiOS does not store full payment card credentials. Payments processed by third parties are subject to their terms. Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features after reasonable notice.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or Apple are also subject to those platforms' payment and subscription terms.

You may cancel through in-app or portal billing settings, platform subscription management (Google Play / Apple), or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current period unless required by law.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. See our Refund Policy for details.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law;
• Disrupt servers, networks, or other users;
• Upload malware, spam, or infringing content;
• Misrepresent identity or affiliation;
• Resell or sublicense the Services without written authorization;
• Scrape or overload the platform without permission.

RasoiOS may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in illegal activity, with or without notice where permitted by law.

As a restaurant operator, you are responsible for:

• Accuracy of menus, pricing, taxes, and billing configuration;
• Compliance with food-service, health, labour, and tax regulations;
• Obtaining consents from customers and staff where required;
• Content you and your staff upload (photos, descriptions, logos);
• Verifying AI-generated recommendations before operational use;
• Training staff and safeguarding credentials;
• Ensuring only authorized personnel (owners, managers, cashiers, counter staff) use your account.

Staff and counter users you authorize must use the Services only for legitimate restaurant operations and must not share login credentials or misuse customer or business data.

You may upload menus, photos, logos, descriptions, and other content ("User Content"). You represent that you have rights to upload User Content and that it does not violate third-party rights or applicable law.

You grant RasoiOS a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit User Content solely to provide and improve the Services. You retain ownership of User Content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Restaurant operational data remains your property. You retain ownership of menus, orders, inventory records, staff records, and customer order data processed through your account, subject to our limited license to host and process it as described in our Privacy Policy.

RasoiOS and its licensors own all rights in the Services, including software, design, trademarks, documentation, and integrated AI systems. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted. Feedback may be used by RasoiOS without obligation to you.

AI features, including Rasoi Brain, provide suggestions and insights based on your operational data. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not a substitute for professional judgment, accounting, legal, or food-safety advice.

You are solely responsible for decisions made using AI outputs, including pricing, inventory, staffing, and menu changes. RasoiOS does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. RasoiOS does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Outages may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, connectivity issues, third-party failures, or force majeure.

Offline features may queue data locally until sync is restored. You are responsible for adequate connectivity and compatible devices.

The Services may integrate with payment gateways, delivery platforms, Google, Apple, Firebase, Razorpay, and other providers. Your use of integrations is subject to third-party terms and privacy practices.

RasoiOS is not responsible for third-party availability, data handling, or service quality except as expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RasoiOS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific business requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RasoiOS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or INR 10,000, whichever is greater, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify RasoiOS against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, User Content, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of Terms, non-payment, security risk, or illegal activity. You may terminate via Account Deletion or in-app Settings → Delete Account.

Surviving provisions include payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that may provide otherwise.

Contact rasoios.team@gmail.com and attempt informal resolution within thirty (30) days before formal proceedings. If unresolved, disputes are subject to Section 20 unless mandatory consumer forum or arbitration rules apply under Indian law.

If you download RasoiOS through Google Play or the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and RasoiOS, not Google or Apple;
• Google and Apple are not responsible for the Services or their content;
• Google and Apple have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
• In the event of failure to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify the platform for a refund of the app purchase price only where applicable;
• Google, Apple, and their subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of applicable platform terms.

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes may be notified through the Services or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
